Thank you for your hygiene 101 video. I would expect for the professional cleaners not to use jewelry when wearing gloves for better washing, and change gloves after every tasks to prevent cross contamination. New gloves for different chores and rooms. Thank you and be healthy.

Great and very informative video Melissa! :D I had a question. What would be recommended to help maintain a home clean, sanitized, and disinfected for homes with multiple pets, especially indoor and outdoor pets?

Great question! As it pertains to Coronavirus, we're thrilled to find out that our favorite furry friends, dogs and cats, are not carriers of the disease. However, pets are always skilled at trashing freshly cleaned homes at lightning speed. My best suggestion for pets is to invest in larger, longer entry mats by all the doors, which will help wipe off the dirt from their feet as they walk longer distances on them. Also investing in a paw washer cup for when you've taken your pets on muddy walks can help reduce the dirt load. In terms of keeping your high touch areas clean and disinfected, one step products like Clorox wipes are awesome for touching up high touch areas between professional cleaning, since they clean and disinfect at the same time, just remember to leave the surface damp enough to take 10 minutes to dry. - Melissa Homer

Thank you, Melissa! Valuable standards for us pro cleaners to uphold. I for one prefer using ethanol or 70 % alcohol to sanitize the "high touch" areas whenever possible, as its less toxic and ethanol is "food safe". Though I do have the array of products for multiple surfaces.
I really like the remote control technique!

Fantastic training resource...very well done and appreciated!

We own a general contracting business, in business since 2009 in SE Washington state. Due to COVID-19, we are reopening the cleaning/disinfection division of our company. I will be sharing this with our technicians and referring to it regularly.

I have a comment I'd like to share to you directly. Please reach out to us @ ServicePros@SonshineLLC.com.

Thank you Melissa so good to brush up on my skills and safety. Enjoyed your video, I own my own business and I do everything you advised us to do and think about ! I love natural essential oil cleaners and would rather use those. Wish you had a video on that. Take care and be safe!

I work as a corporate trainer in a major company. As part of my job I create training materials. This was a great training video. Loved the technique of using the disclaimer to make a change. Very well done. I will use that technique in my work and the cleaning information for my home.
